Waterscape fountain is the key point of the whole landscape project. The pre-planning of water landscape form directly affects the grade, function and cost of the whole environment. Landscape planners must pay enough attention to it. Following is a brief introduction of several common classification methods of water fountains.
According to the structure of water storage and its relative position with water-scape equipment, water-scape fountains can be divided into the following three forms:
1. Pool type: The main equipment such as nozzles, pipes and pumps used in the waterscape project is set in the pool. The fountain equipment is exposed after the water tank stops storing water. It is a commonly used form in the waterscape fountain.
2. Dry spring type: the main equipment such as nozzles, pipes and pumps used in the waterscape project is hidden in the water storage trench. After the waterscape project is stopped, pedestrians and vehicles in the waterscape area can pass as usual, and this form is often used in municipal or community squares with more tourists.
3. River-lake type: the main equipment such as sprinklers, pipes and pumps used in the waterscape project shall be set up in the rivers or lakes around the landscape area. It is commonly used in large rivers or lakes with abundant water resources, and the scale of waterscape fountains projects is generally large.
