During the operation of the fountain equipment, there will be a problem of inconsistent water spray level of the fountain, that is, the fountain does not reach the set height. This problem occurs mainly due to the following reasons:
1. The power of the pump is not enough, specifically the pump head and flow are not enough.
To achieve the set height of the fountain water column, when equipped with a water pump, the fountain water pump needs to have sufficient head and flow to support it. If the power of the pump is too small, it may directly cause insufficient power and height of the fountain water column. So first check whether the power of the pump is satisfied.
2. The outlet diameter of the nozzle is not enough.
The outlet diameter of the nozzle will also directly affect the height of the fountain. The higher the setting height of the fountain, the larger the outlet diameter of the nozzle. If the set spray height is inconsistent with the nozzle outlet diameter, it will cause the fountain water column to be scattered or not concentrated during the ascent, and eventually the set height cannot be reached.
3. “One belt more” means one pump with multiple nozzles.
A water pump drives multiple nozzles, there will be delay loss, straightforward means midway loss. The closer the nozzle is to the pump, the greater the flow of the fountain water column, and the set height can be easily reached. The nozzle farther away from the pump, due to the loss of the extension, the flow of the fountain water column is reduced accordingly. Unless the pump is large enough, the nozzle is difficult to reach the set height.
If the height of the water spray is inconsistent due to the problems of the pump, there are the following solutions:
Method (1). Install a regulating valve on each nozzle to mainly control the flow of the water column of the nozzle close to the pump to reduce unnecessary flow consumption.
Method (2). Each fountain is equipped with a water pump. This approach will greatly increase the total cost. From an economic point of view, it is not very suitable.
Method (3). Each pump has few nozzles, and place the pump in the middle of several nozzles. Usually every few nozzles about 10 meters apart will be equipped with a water pump, which is the best method and the most common method.
