Pump installation on the Fountain installation – submersible pumps generally do not need to be connected in series. If the head is high, multistage submersible pumps can be used. When one submersible pump can not meet the flow demand, multiple submersible pumps of the same type can be selected.

Centrifugal pumps can work in parallel and in series. When a centrifugal pump can not meet the required flow rate, multiple centrifugal pumps of the same type can be selected; when the working pressure is high, the centrifugal pumps of the same type and flow rate can be selected to work in series, or multistage centrifugal pumps can be used. After parallel or series connection, the efficiency and superposition value of the pump are slightly lower than that of a single pump.
